I am a Lena Shah, a Mindfulness and Yoga teacher, specialising in Yin Yoga and yoga for stress, trauma, burnout and anxiety. I am passionate about empowering others to discover their own impetus to freedom and fulfilment through body work, having changed my lifestyle and career after 14 years of working in the corporate industry and experiencing my own burnout. I work with clients on a short and long-term basis, using a mix of personally tailored sequences, poetry, music, affirmations and guided relaxations to help clients regulate their nervous system and increase their awareness to help emotional healing. My clients range from 17-80 year olds. I also run a weekly studio class in South West London.

The practice of Yin Yoga is based on ancient Chinese philosophies and Taoist principles which believe there are pathways of Qi (energy) that run through our bodies. Yin yoga allows us to breathe into the deeper connective tissues in the body such as the fascia, ligaments, joints, and bones. It’s slower and more meditative, giving space to turn inward and tune into both the mind and physical sensations of the body. Through my own mindfulness and yoga practice I have been able to:
