Helen Morris is a qualified Executive Menopause Coach and Mindfulness Teacher and Resilience Coach specialising in workplace well-being. During her career as an IT Operational Manager, Helen was active as a workplace mentor and career coach, supporting colleagues with their health and well-being. She developed an interest in mindfulness techniques and their application to help manage stress in the workplace. Helen has authored several study guides in IT service management and created and presented training courses for accreditation for service management qualifications. She has worked as a consultant for a wide range of blue-chip organisations, including BBC, Bank of England, Maersk, BT, various local and central government departments, amongst others. After her own experiences with a surgical menopause in her early 30s, Helen also began research into the support of women experiencing both perimenopause and menopause. Her symptoms meant that she left corporate employment for self-employment in her 40s, so that she could manage her work life balance more effectively to maintain her health and well-being. Helen has spent the last 20 years specialising in IT service management as an accredited tutor and consultant, whilst gaining certification in Counselling and Psychology, followed by qualifying as a Mindfulness Teacher (training approved by The British Psychological Society) and Executive Menopause Coach (CPDUK). Her experience as a manager, trainer and consultant working with a wide variety of people and cultures worldwide has provided her with a comprehensive background on which to build the skills required for supporting well-being in the workplace. Outside of her professional life, Helen spends as much time as she can with her children and grandchildren. She now lives in rural France with her husband and pets, enjoying family and friends visiting to share the European lifestyle.
