Mindfulness Coach
Sally is an experienced, accredited mindfulness trainer who is on a mission to help people meet life's joys and challenges with presence, compassion and resilience. Mindfulness is an evidence-based, secular approach that has been proven to help people cope better with stress, worry, over-thinking, physical illness, pain and loneliness. Sally is passionate about mindfulness because it worked so well for her. When a painful health condition coupled with a demanding role managing a mental health project left her stressed out, anxious and exhausted she enrolled on an eight-week Mindfulness for Health course. She was so impressed at how much it helped with both her physical and mental health that she committed to keep practising regularly, and then went on to train so she could share what she'd learnt with others. Since 2017 Sally has taught mindfulness to hundreds of people in Oxfordshire and online. She specialises in supporting people who struggle with stress and pain. Sally is listed with the British Association of Mindfulness-Based Approaches (BAMBA), the only national register for UK mindfulness teachers who meet Good Practice Guidelines. This means that she is fully insured and committed to regular personal practice, professional supervision, annual retreats and continued professional development. Having worked in mental health services for the last 10 years, she is experienced at supporting people in emotional distress with compassion and respect. She has been a certified Mental Health First Aider since 2012.
