Sylvia Tillmann has a foundation training in counselling, is a certified TRE (Tension Releasing Exercises) Provider and believes that the body is so much cleverer than we give it credit for.

She has a business background and knows very well what stress is. Although she used to dismiss it as “but I'm having fun”, its impacts were there: teeth-grinding and lower back pain.

Fast forward 20 years and Sylvia truly believes that stress really is the root of all evil, but also knows how we can support our bodies to release (not 'just' manage) that stress in order to prevent burnouts, tackle aches, pains, anxiety and gain resilience.

Sylvia's teaching is informative, gentle and empathic – empowering you to take your health into your own hands, well, body.

About TRE: 

TRE (Tension Releasing Exercises) – a somatic stress release modality

TRE is a somatic modality which can help you to naturally release tension stored in the body – with a range of positive add-on benefits.

When we are stressed, we tense up, and this tension often manifests as aches and pains, e.g. tension headaches/migraines, back/neck/shoulder pain, teeth grinding, gastrointestinal issues or anxiety or irritability.

In this session you will learn how to proactively heal your health issues or nip them in the bud, become much more relaxed and gain more resilience.

As we work with the body, there's no need to verbalise or analyse any (past) situations – so you can give your constantly busy mind a rest and let the body do the work.

Practising TRE will induce a natural tremor response – which can release tension and down-regulate the nervous system.

The body's most innate reaction to stress and tension is to literally shake it off – all mammals are encoded to do that, just observe a dog how it shakes after a stressful incident and then gets on happily with life.

Of course, you are not a dog, but you can learn a valuable tool for life and can then take ownership of your health and well-being.

In this session you will learn the basics of TRE and can start practising straight away – and decide afterwards if you want to learn TRE properly.
